South Florida is full of amazing restaurants, and when it comes to brunch the area has one major advantage: no matter where you sit, the sun will be shining on you. If you’re a brunch aficionado in South Florida, then you’re sure to enjoy this list. After all, is there anything better than mimosas and bloody marys before the sun goes down?

1. Biltmore

While the Biltmore’s Sunday Champagne brunch is a bit on the expensive side, you get what you pay for. It’s as elegant as brunch comes in South Florida. Lobster, shrimp, crab, caviar – whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it at the Biltmore. After all these years serving Miami, it’s still the brunch to beat.

2. Swine

Swine’s brunch is as good as the URL for their website – visit them at runpigrun.com. Their brunch runs on Saturdays & Sundays from 10am-4pm, and it features some of the best pork inspired dishes you could ever imagine. The Pulled Pork ‘N Eggs, Farm Egg and Maple Sausage Sandwich, Smoked Brisket Steak & Eggs and BLT Eggs Benedict with house cured bacon are four of our favorites. Or, if you can’t wait any longer and are ready for dinner, you can always still order a half rack of ribs – available until they run out.

3. Yardbird – Southern Table & Bar

Amazing shot by @thecozysweaters! Our chicken, watermelon & waffles with a side of the best mac&Cheese you’ve ever had!

Yardbird describes itself as a house of worship to farm-fresh ingredients, classic Southern cooking, culture and hospitality. It truly is a culinary experience, whether you’re new to Southern cooking or a seasoned (no pun intended) veteran. Bacon donuts, fried chicken, deviled eggs – you’re in for a real treat at this authentic gem of a brunch. Side note: the lunch and dinner menu are also superb.

4. American Social

One of the liveliest brunches on our list, American Social has a great vibe. It’s always packed, so get there early. To really sweeten the deal, American Social offers free mimosas from 11:30am-2pm, so you’ll have even more incentive to arrive on time. Waffles, made-to-order omelettes, and snow crab legs are on offer at the unlimited buffet. This restaurant really doesn’t want to limit anyone.

5. Rusty Pelican

The weekend brunch at Rusty Pelican is fantastic – the setting makes sure that you enjoy yourself. They were voted ‘Best Sunday Brunch’ by the Miami New Times and have also been named one of the best brunch spots in the city by Zagat. Sit outside and enjoy one of their amazing benedicts – we love and highly recommend the Maine Lobster Benedict.

6. The Federal

Similar to the rest of this list, if you’re going for Sunday Brunch you’d better arrive early – it fills up quickly. That being said if you can drag yourself out of bed and make your way to The Federal, you won’t be disappointed. Their Boozy Brunch offers some amazing deviled eggs, biscuits to die for, and bottomless mimosas for your liquid pleasure.

7. O-B House

O-B House, also known as the Old Fort Lauderdale Breakfast House, does everything right. Breakfast is served all-day every day, and it’s their specialty as the name suggests. You can drop a pin on this menu at order where it falls – everything is outstanding. They take the time to make sure that everyday ingredients (like toast) are mind-bogglingly good. Seriously – just the bread is amazing and homemade of course. The cheese grits, Original Downtown Breakfast Sandwich, Southern Comfort, and D-Clawed Omelette are all stand-outs. Or if you’re up for something really unique – go with their famous Florida Corn Oven Pancake.
