Fort Lauderdale has plenty of amazing beaches, restaurants, and golf courses – and this list is going to take you through the specific places you can visit and things that you can do to help take a load off. Just because we’re always in the sun doesn’t mean we don’t get stressed out too! Add these activities to your Fort Lauderdale bucket list, and make your weekends a little bit more relaxing.

Don’t think BBQ is a great way to relax? Talk to me after you’ve ingested half a pound of brisket. It’ll be the quickest you’ve ever fallen into a nap, guaranteed. Located on US-1 at 12th Street, Tom Jenkins’ is open Tuesday – Saturday, but if you’re going on Saturday be prepared to wait. It’s that good. Try the ribs, brisket, chicken or catfish, it’s all fantastic.
5. Hit Some Balls at Aqua Golf Driving Range
Yes, yes, yes, I know it’s not technically in Fort Lauderdale, but sometimes you have to make a little drive before you can relax. Located just south of Hollywood in Pembroke Park, the range has a history of over 50 years and continues to serve the area today. Hit some balls as far as you can and watch them splash – simple, yet relaxing.
