10 States With The Lowest Gas Prices

With gas at it’s lowest national average price since 2009, there’s no denying that we’re all saving a few bucks at the pump. If you want to really break it down though, these 10 states are saving more than everyone else – with gas in the cheapest state (see #1 below) being almost a full dollar cheaper than in California (the most expensive state – see the top 10 most expensive states for gas here).

Regardless, we’re all feeling the savings – here’s who’s filling up for the least. For trivia lovers, this list is a tough one. Try to guess one of the top three!

10. South Carolina

Average Price of Gas Per Gallon: $1.616

9. Texas

Average Price of Gas Per Gallon: $1.615

8. Arkansas

7. Alabama

Average Price of Gas Per Gallon: $1.601

6. Kansas
