Gastropub Kelly’s At Southbridge offers a swankier spin on comfort food and drinks, served in a relaxed setting. The happy hour prices make this place a local favourite, with cocktails that include the ‘Smokin’ Jack’, made with Don Amado Mezcal, Roca Patron Silver, grapefruit juice, lime juice, sage, and pumpkin cinnamon syrup.

Windsor, a bright yet cozy spot, is making good food and great drinks. The cocktails are numbered, not named. ‘No. 03’ includes rye, Dolin dry vermouth, lavender syrup, and fresh lemon. ‘No. 17’ features cucumber vodka, green tea syrup, fresh cucumber, and mint. This family-friendly place also knows their stuff when it comes to brunch dishes.

Wine bar Postino Central offers vino from all over the world, with a food menu that pairs well with reds, whites, and rosés. The menu features cheese boards, charcuterie, soft pretzels, artichoke dip, and the best bruschetta in town. Their beer list is just as impressive.

Located in an old warehouse, The Duce is a stylish yet down-to-earth. Boasting brick walls and retro décor, it’s the perfect place to grab a drink with friends. Crudo is a beloved hot spot and great place to bring a date due to its cool décor and delicious drinks. The ‘AVC Mule’ is made with Green Mark vodka, pear brandy, apple cider vinegar syrup, and ginger beer. The ‘Square Garden’ includes Square One Botanical, celery, jalapeno, mint, basil, and lime.

Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour is one of the city’s most popular hangouts, mainly because it’s located in the historic prohibition headquarters. Also, the food and drinks are beyond compare. Their cocktails are always made with premium liquor and fresh ingredients. The ‘Turnt Up’ is a long island iced tea, served in a Coca-Cola can.

Hanny’s, located in a former department store, is a trendy downtown place with an eclectic drink menu. The cocktails are inspired by the past, yet still feel new and different. The ‘Absent Minded’ is made with Mata Hari Absinthe, Ricard, St-Germain, bitters, and agave nectar. And as far as music goes, the DJ always knows just what to play.

Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails makes ethically sourced food and good drinks to pair with it. The ‘Lost Melody’ cocktail is made with Smirnoff, grapefruit liqueur, coconut crème, grapefruit juice, and rose water. ‘Lawless’ contains wild turkey rye, “truck stop” bitters, wormwood liqueur, and tobacco smoke.
